The International Master Degree in Fire Safety Engineering (IMFSE) is a 2-year full-time Master programme, within the Erasmus + program, which is held across three well renown university in Northern Europe. The program is structured in 4 semesters and it’s focused on its mobile structure, with the possibility to change the study location after each semester, giving the students the opportunity to gain from the strengths and expertise of 3 universities or more in the field of Fire Safety Engineering.

The first Semester can be spent at Ghent University (Belgium) or The University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and covers the basic topics in Fire Protection Engineering. All students gather at Lund University to spend the second semester in which the program emphasis on enclosure fire dynamics, risk analysis and human behavior in fire. More in-depth courses are given during semester 3 at Ghent University or The University of Edinburgh. To successfully finish the program, the students are required to write a Master’s thesis, which can be hosted by 1 of the 3 Full Partner Institutes or 1 of the 3 Associated Partner Institutes, or collaborating with 1 of the Sponsoring Companies.
